The Muhdra project was conceived in 2019, springing from the creative mind of guitarist Leo Antoniucci, who composed all the pieces.
The music belongs to the Metal genre, with deep roots in the 80's and 90's, yet it distinctly nods to contemporary metal.
In the following months, drummer Roberto Pieroni joined the initiative.
The group, initially named Flame, embarked on the quest to complete their lineup.
During this period, Francesco Paoli and Francesco Ferrini of Fleshgod Apocalypse, also the founders of Midas Production, came aboard as artistic producers. It wasn't until 2022 that the band's formation crystallized with the addition of Ivan Mihaljevic on vocals, Gian Luca Morleni on bass, and Alessandro Cellini on guitar, prompting a rebranding to Muhdra.
In January 2023, the ensemble released a four-track EP and in October, they debuted their first music video for the song "Infinity," directed by Davide Vasta.
